Feudatory supporters from the Dynamo Dresden and 1. FC Nürnberg football clubs were scheduled to participate in a mass brawl involving approximately 200 people. According to the police on Saturday morning, this planned “third-party confrontation” was set to take place on the night from Friday to Saturday in a commercial area near Eisfeld in Thuringia. Consequently, the Dresden Police Department assembled resources from Thuringia, Saxony, and the federal police, deploying a total of 220 officers to the event. A total of 214 individuals were subjected to an identity verification process, and the Dresden public prosecutor’s office initiated investigations against those involved.
