McLaren Close Behind

Charles Leclerc will lead the field from pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix, following a compelling qualifying session held on Saturday. The Ferrari driver secured the fastest time, outpacing McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris who will start second and third respectively.

The remainder of the top ten saw a closely contested order. George Russell in his Mercedes will start fourth, followed by Fernando Alonso. Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll secured sixth place, while Alfa Romeo’s Gabriel Bortoleto placed seventh. Defending champion Max Verstappen in his Red Bull will start from eighth. Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar, both driving for Racing Bulls, secured ninth and tenth positions.

German driver Nico Hülkenberg, piloting for Alfa Romeo, will start from 19th place following the qualifying event held in Mogyoród.
