In Washington, President Trump announced the appointment of Stephen Miran to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, effective until January 31, 2026, following the resignation of Adriana Kugler last Friday. Currency markets saw a strengthening of the Euro against the US Dollar. As of Thursday evening, one Euro was valued at 1.1659 US Dollars, equating to 0.8577 US Dollars per Euro.
