Gas Prices Rise in Germany

Fuel prices across Germany have seen a slight increase compared to the previous week. According to a recent assessment by the ADAC, both gasoline and diesel have risen by 0.7 cents per liter. The average nationwide price for a liter of Super E10 currently stands at €1.667, while diesel is priced at €1.589.

This upward trend follows a week where the price of crude oil had decreased by approximately $3 per barrel. Brent crude, a key global benchmark, is now trading at around $68 per barrel, a $2 increase from the previous week. The price of Brent oil has fluctuated between $65 and $70 since early August, representing a period of relative stability compared to earlier weeks. The recent weakening of the US dollar against the Euro has partially offset the rise in crude oil prices.
