LEG plans to withdraw entirely from East Germany by the end of this year. CEO Lars von Lackum told the Rheinische Post on Thursday that East Germany is “not our market”. He said the group had 1,700 apartments earmarked for sale and that most of them should be sold by year‑end.
Lackum also mentioned that they intend to divest other holdings, adding that they will put a total of 5,000 apartments on display, but they will never sell below book value.
According to the manager, LEG sold about 3,100 apartments in 2025 for a combined total of 250 million euros.
