According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran have killed at least 550 people so far, with 131 cities reported as affected. The report does not delineate whether the victims were military personnel, regime officials, or civilians.
The society says more than 100,000 rescue and aid workers across the country are on maximum alert. An end to the attacks on Iran, or to Iran’s own strikes against other countries in the region, appears unlikely at present. President Donald Trump has recently suggested that the conflict could last at least four weeks.
