Johannes Oerding’s new album “Hotel” has taken the top spot on the official German album charts, according to a report from GfK on Thursday. It marks his third number‑one record, following “Konturen” and “Plan A”.
BTS’s previous chart‑winning single “Arirang” has slipped to second place, with Raye’s “This Music May Contain Hope” holding the third spot, BAP’s “Paar Daach spääder” in fourth, and Die Ärzte’s “Nach uns die Sintflut” occupying fifth.
In the singles chart, “Lush Life” by Zara Larsson leads, ahead of “Babydoll” by Dominic Fike at number two and “Swim” by BTS at number three.
The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Bundesverband Musikindustrie and cover 90 % of all music sales.
