US President Donald Trump warned against arms deliveries to Iran and threatened the imposition of new tariffs. On Wednesday, he posted on his platform “Truth Social” stating, “Any country that delivers military goods to Iran will be hit with an immediate 50 percent tariff on all goods sold in the USA”. He emphasized that there would be absolutely no exceptions to this measure. Regarding the agreed-upon ceasefire, the US president affirmed that the US would “work closely with Iran” citing the “regime change” that has taken place in the country, which he described as “extremely productive”. Trump also mentioned that there would be no further uranium enrichment. He added that discussions are currently underway with Iran concerning the lifting of tariffs and sanctions.
