Marc Henrichmann, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Control Committee in the Bundestag and a member of the CDU, has issued a warning regarding potential further attack plans emanating from Iran within Germany. Speaking to the “Tagesspiegel” (Friday edition), he stated that such plans are regrettably unsurprising. While he noted that Iran has been active in Germany for some time, engaging in recruitment efforts, he clarified that this activity does not stem from a single, fixed organization, but rather from various ideological currents that often lack defined structures. Despite this decentralized nature, Henrichmann cautioned that networks planning attacks could establish themselves very quickly at a regional level, drawing a parallel to a recent incident. In response, he emphasized that preemptive action is necessary, urging authorities to move ahead of the threat before it escalates.
