Several people died on Tuesday following a collision between a Belgian railway train and a school bus in Buggenhout, located in the Flemish region. According to reports from the public broadcaster VRT, who cited rail operator Infrabel, emergency services were fully mobilized at the scene.

The accident happened around 8:15 a.m. at the crossing in Vierhuizen.
