Germany managed to defeat Ivory Coast with a 2-1 victory in the World Cup. The start of the match was highly balanced, but despite Deutschland initially having two unanswered shots in the first half, Ivory Coast took the lead in the 30th minute via a goal from Franck Kessié, who was assisted by a follow-up shot. The German team was initially visibly stunned, but they managed to equalize in the 68th minute. Deniz Undav capitalized on a pass from Nadiem Amiri to level the score, and Undav went on to seal the win in stoppage time.
