ImmoScout24 Investigates Employee Behavior Amid Controversy at Berlin CSD Parade

Real estate portal ImmoScout24 is conducting an internal review regarding the conduct of one of its employees during the Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Berlin. The company issued a statement on Wednesday following the virality of a video capturing a man on the portal’s official truck. In the video, the man was seen displaying a fan that prominently featured the phrase “Anal?”.

The incident sparked public outrage on social media. The footage appears to show the employee not only showing the fan but also turning around and exposing his rear end. Furthermore, the controversy escalated because a child was noted to be a passenger on the truck, riding directly next to the ImmoScout employee bearing the “Anal” sign.

ImmoScout24 emphasized that the company stands for “diversity, openness, and mutual respect,” which is why they support the CSD. However, the company stated that the behavior shown in the video, particularly how one of its staff members acted, “does not align with ImmoScout24’s values and is not tolerated in any way.”

The company stressed that respectful interaction is expected, especially when people of various ages meet in public spaces. This expectation applies specifically to both management and employees. The incident will now be handled internally.

According to the company, this marked the first time the organization had participated in the Berlin CSD with its own dedicated truck.
