According to BSW party leader Amira Mohamed Ali, the party is officially ending coalition discussions with the AfD in Saxony-Anhalt. Speaking to the “Rheinische Post,” she emphasized that the BSW will neither elect a minister president from the CDU nor one from the AfD. Furthermore, she declared that the party will absolutely refuse to enter into a coalition with the AfD in Saxony-Anhalt.
Mohamed Ali explained that the BSW intends to uphold its pre-election commitment: championing a cross-party minister president who is recognized within the state and who will govern through the parliament, operating with changing majorities. She asserted that the BSW is available for discussions with all political parties regarding this approach.
