The preliminary official final results for the Berlin House of Representatives election were released on Monday night. According to the figures, The Left party emerged as the clear strongest force, securing 25.7 percent of the vote. Following them are the incumbent CDU with 18.8 percent, the AfD at 16.3 percent, the Greens with 14.3 percent, and the SPD with 12.1 percent. The BSW finished in a reduced position with 4.7 percent, while the FDP recorded 2.5 percent.
Among the smaller parties, the Animal Protection Party and Volt each garnered 2.1 percent. The satirical party “Die Partei” managed to reach 0.7 percent, while PdF secured 0.3 percent. ÖPD, DKP, and “Die Urbane” each accounted for 0.1 percent of the votes. SGP, Heimat, and B” also gained votes, though these amounts were rounded down to 0.0 percent.
