Christoph Kramer, described as a football world champion, does not find being approached by fans bothersome. Speaking to the “Rheinische Post”, he noted that he is currently “just below the threshold where one is considered super famous,” adding that he is “luckily exactly where it isn’t annoying.” He feels he can move around with considerable freedom, a situation he is “very happy” about. However, his experience changes when meeting former football colleagues. Kramer explained that when he is with Mats Hummels, it is a different matter, as Hummels is “a bit above the threshold.” In addition to his football career, the former national player and television commentator is set to release a new novel, “Wolkenberührpunkt”, on October 1st. Furthermore, his literary debut from 2025, “Das Leben fing im Sommer an”, has sold over 100,000 copies. That book has also been adapted for the theatre, and a film adaptation is currently in production.
