On Wednesday, access to the International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA) in Berlin was completely obstructed by activists. According to organizers, both main roads leading into the event grounds have been blocked. However, the pedestrian route departing from the Waßmannsdorf S-Bahn station remains open. Authorities have confirmed they are working intensively with the state police to find a resolution as quickly as possible. The International Aerospace Exhibition is recognized as one of the major and critical global aviation and space shows, which includes an extensive military display section. Later in the day, Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) and several other ministers are expected to attend at midday.
