According to the latest ZDF “Political Barometer” survey, the AfD has managed to gain support. If a federal election were to take place this coming Sunday, the AfD is projected to achieve 28 percent of the vote, marking a one-point increase.
Behind the AfD, the Union currently holds 23 percent. The Greens saw a slight drop in the poll, losing one percentage point and settling at 13 percent. Similarly, the Left has lost one point, putting it equal to the SPD with 12 percent each.
The FDP’s support remains unchanged at 4 percent, meaning it would not cross the mandate threshold. In the survey, the remaining parties gained one percentage point, reaching 8 percent.
