Based on these results, forming a government in Saxony-Anhalt without the AfD would likely necessitate a three-party coalition including The Left The Infratest survey reveals that 47 percent of respondents would prefer a government led by the CDU, while 37 percent favor a government led by the AfD
Citizen satisfaction with the performance of the current black-red-yellow (CDU-SPD-FDP) coalition government has decreased While over half of the citizens were satisfied with the government’s work shortly after its formation, only 34 percent express satisfaction now, with 62 percent holding a negative view
Regarding prominent political figures, incumbent Minister-President Reiner Haseloff (CDU) maintains the highest approval ratings, with 59 percent satisfied with his work CDU’s lead candidate, Sven Schulze, currently convinces only 20 percent of eligible voters, while 44 percent do not know him AfD’s state and parliamentary group leader, Ulrich Siegmund, is unknown to over half of those surveyed, but receives more positive than negative feedback among those who do know him SPD lead candidate Armin Willingmann is also largely unknown, with a slightly positive approval rating among those who do Lydia Hüskens (FDP), Eva von Angern (The Left) and Susan Sziborra-Seidlitz (Green Party) all have lower approval ratings
