German music charts have seen a shake-up this week, with the rap artist Aymen and music producer Sira claiming the top spot with their single “30 mal am Tag”. The announcement, released Friday by GfK, marks a shift in the rankings.
The duo’s success pushes US singer Alex Warren and his track “Ordinary” down to third place, concluding his eight-week reign at number one. The “KPop Demon Hunters” track “Golden” secures the second position in the interim.
Moving to the album charts, rapper Gzuz takes the number one spot with his release “Scherbenhaus”. Close behind is Alice Cooper’s “The Revenge Of Alice Cooper” at number two, followed by Aymen’s self-titled debut album at number four and the medieval band Saltatio Mortis with their “Best Of” compilation, “Weltenwanderer – Von Träumen & Krawall” clinching the fifth position.
The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the Music Industry and represent 90 percent of all music sales within Germany.
