FC Bayern Munich has announced the acquisition of Colombian international Luis Díaz from reigning English champions Liverpool FC. The club confirmed Díaz has signed a contract lasting until June 30, 2029 and will wear the number 14 shirt.

Díaz joined Liverpool in January 2022 for a reported fee of €45 million, transferring from FC Porto. During his time with the Reds, he contributed to victories including the English Championship, FA Cup, English Super Cup and two English League Cups. He has amassed 148 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool, scoring 41 goals and providing 23 assists. Díaz has represented the Colombian national team since 2018, appearing in 64 matches and finding the net 19 times.
