Borussia Mönchengladbach has confirmed the loan of forward Tomas Cvancara to Turkish Süper Lig side Antalyaspor until the end of the 2025/26 season. The club, based in the Lower Rhine region of Germany, announced the move Saturday evening, following earlier news of the acquisition of Shuto Machino from Kiel.
“This loan provides Tomas with a new opportunity to realize his potential in a different environment” stated Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Sporting Director, Roland Virkus. “We are convinced that this is the best solution for both parties in this situation.
Cvancara joined Borussia Mönchengladbach in summer 2023, transferring from Sparta Prague. During his first season with the club, despite a roughly two-month injury layoff, he appeared in 24 matches, scoring six goals and providing two assists. In the most recent 2024/25 season, the Czech Republic international featured in 30 games.
