French, German and British leaders condemned Iran’s rocket attacks on regional states as arbitrary and disproportionate. The strikes also hit nations that had no role in the original U.S.‑Israeli military operations.
In a joint statement issued Sunday, the three governments urged Iran to halt the attacks immediately. They announced a willingness to take necessary and proportionate defensive measures to protect their interests and those of their allies. Such actions could include neutralising Iran’s ability to launch rockets and drones.
The leaders also pledged to work with the United States and other regional partners on the matter.
