The Act also seeks to mitigate risks stemming from third‑party suppliers located in countries with notable cyber‑security concerns. It proposes a trusted security framework based on a harmonised, proportionate and risk‑based approach, designed to reduce vulnerabilities in the EU’s ICT supply chain.
