A fatal traffic collision occurred Saturday midday on the K505 road near Nordstemmen, Germany, resulting in the death of a 75-year-old female driver. According to a police statement released this evening, the incident took place at approximately 11:55 AM when a 35-year-old male driver veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with the vehicle operated by the senior citizen.
The 75-year-old woman sustained critical injuries as a result of the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 35-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
