Gasoline prices in Germany have receded slightly once again recently. According to the ADAC, a liter of Super E10 currently averages 2.041 Euros, representing a decrease of 4.3 cents compared to the previous week. Diesel has also become cheaper, dropping by 2.9 cents to an average of 2.260 Euros per liter.
Oil prices have fallen noticeably in recent days. A barrel of Brent crude from the North Sea cost around 104 US dollars at yesterday’s closing market. This is about ten US dollars less than the previous week. The ADAC views this drop as a positive development for consumers and anticipates that this should be reflected at the gas pumps. Despite the price reduction, diesel remains at a high price level, nearly 22 cents per liter more expensive than Super E10.
