The price of Super E10 saw a slight decline compared to the previous week. According to current data from ADAC, the nationwide average for a liter is approximately 2.267 Euros, representing a drop of 3.3 cents from last week. Meanwhile, the price of diesel remained largely stable over the same period, averaging 2.428 Euros per liter, which corresponds to a minor increase of 0.6 cents.
Significantly, oil prices dropped during the same time frame. A barrel of Brent crude from the North Sea closed yesterday below 100 US dollars, more than ten US dollars less than it was in the previous week. Against this backdrop, the ADAC maintains that current fuel prices are too high. The automobile club notes that the decline in oil prices has only partially been reflected at the pump. Specifically, there is still a need for greater clarity and explanation at the refinery and wholesale levels.
