Meanwhile, the official death toll has now risen to 235, with an estimated 1,500 injuries. However, aid organizations such as the Red Cross have estimated the number of victims to be significantly higher, reaching up to 100,000 people.
On Friday, the German Armed Forces began dispatching military transporters to Venezuela carrying aid supplies, including sniffers. The Foreign Office spokesperson confirmed that Venezuela has submitted a formal plea for help through international mechanisms. However, there is no direct financial assistance provided at this time.
