Hübner is not ready to estimate how many projects from the €500 billion special fund for infrastructure and climate neutrality will reach the construction companies’ order books. He says many plans are still not tender‑ready and a lot of work takes too long. Nevertheless, he believes the capacities of the German construction industry are sufficient to absorb the multi‑billion‑euro package.
