Approximately 40% of those utilizing video streaming prefer to watch content on-demand, according to the research However, traditional viewing habits remain strong, with 30% primarily watching content at scheduled broadcast times and a further 28% combining both approaches equally
The preference for on-demand versus scheduled viewing is also linked to age Half of 16-29 year-old video streamers (50%) frequently choose on-demand content In contrast, among streaming users aged 65 and over, 48% continue to prefer watching content at its scheduled broadcast time
