In Germany, fuel prices have shown almost no change when compared to the previous week. A recent ADAC survey reports that a litre of Super E10 costs an average of €1.758 nationwide, a rise of 0.4 cent. Diesel is slightly cheaper, averaging €1.711 per litre – about 0.5 cent less than Super E10.
Brent crude prices fell roughly $2 per barrel last week, hovering around $67. The euro has weakened slightly against the U.S. dollar, trading between $1.18 and $1.19. Even with the drop in crude, there has not been a significant price reduction for Super E10. The gap between gasoline and diesel has widened a little but remains small at 4.7 cent, despite diesel enjoying roughly 20 cent less in tax.
