Gladbach Extends Honorat Contract to 2029

Borussia Mönchengladbach has extended the contract of midfielder Franck Honorat, securing his commitment to the club through June 30, 2029. The announcement was made by the Bundesliga side on Tuesday.

Sporting Director Roland Virkus lauded Honorat’s significance to the team, describing him as an “important pillar” and one of the “top assist providers in the league.

The 28-year-old Frenchman expressed his contentment with the contract extension, emphasizing his strong personal connection with the club and its supporters. He noted that the recent years have been about settling in and he is now eager to contribute fully and confidently to the team’s success.

Honorat joined Mönchengladbach in 2023 and quickly established himself as a regular starter. In the recently concluded season, he played a crucial role in the team’s attacking performance, registering nine assists.
