The fictional K-pop group Huntrix continues its dominance of the German music scene. Their single, “Golden” performed by Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, has secured the top spot on the official German singles chart for an unprecedented sixth consecutive week, according to data released Monday by GfK.
Alex Warren (“Ordinary”) and Jazeek (“Akon”) follow closely behind, claiming the second and third positions respectively. New entries in the top 20 include hip-hop artists Bobby Vandamme, 3robi & Chahid (“Andere Niveau”) debuting at number eleven, followed by Lady Gaga’s “The Dead Dance” entering at number twelve and Nina Chuba’s “3 Uhr Nachts” reaching number eighteen.
In the album charts, RAF Camora’s latest release, “Forever” has ascended to number one. Swiss & Die Andern secure the second position with their album “Punk ist tot” while the soundtrack to the Netflix animated series “KPop Demon Hunters” maintains a strong performance, landing at number three.
The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the German Federal Association of the Music Industry and represent approximately 90 percent of all music sales within the country.
