Green Youth Pushes Controversial Mayor Boris Palmer From Stuttgart Party Event

Boris Palmer claims that members of his own party’s youth wing forced him out of a Green party campaign event in Stuttgart. According to Palmer, he was approached by two young men who introduced themselves explicitly as “Green Youth” as soon as he entered the foyer. One of them allegedly told him that he was harming “Cem” and that he should leave, stressing that no invitation had been extended and that he should simply go away.

When pressed for a reply, the Green Youth organisation in Baden‑Württemberg declined to comment on Palmer’s account. Palmer, who has long been a polarising figure within the party, finally left the Greens after a series of scandals in 2023.

The confrontation was later confirmed by Ryyan Alshebl, the mayor of the small town of Ostelsheim. Alshebl said the encounter was not friendly and that the dispute had nothing to do with Palmer. He added that he had recently witnessed similar bad behaviour in the local primary school.
