Alex Warren continues his reign atop the German music scene, holding the number one spot on the official German single charts for a remarkable seventh consecutive week. The announcement, released Friday by GfK, confirms Warren’s continued popularity with listeners.
Following Warren in the single charts are the musical duo Amo and Aymen with their track “Love All Night” securing the second position, trailed closely by Zartmann’s “Tau mich auf” at number three.
The soundtrack for the Netflix film “KPop Demon Hunters” retains its position at the summit of the album charts. Demonstrating the soundtrack’s significant impact, two tracks from the collection, “Golden” and “Your Idol” also appear in the single rankings, claiming fourth and 26th places respectively. The latest albums from rappers Samra (“Kareem”) and Cashmo (“Alman”) achieve strong showings, holding the second and third positions on the album charts. Rounding out the top five are singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald (“Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For”) and Schlager singer Jay Khan (“Verdammt”).
These official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Federal Association of the German Music Industry and account for 90 percent of all music sales within Germany, providing a comprehensive overview of the nation’s musical trends.
