Huntrix’s “Golden” Tops German Charts Again

Germany’s official music charts have seen continued success for the song “Golden” by virtual girl group Huntrix, maintaining its top position, according to data released Friday by GfK Entertainment. The track, featured in the Netflix animated film “KPop Demon Hunters” is performed by artists Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami. Rounding out the top three in the singles chart are Alex Warren with “Ordinary” at number two and Zartmann with “Tau mich auf” in third.

The album charts witnessed a first for KPop boygroup Stray Kids, who claimed the top spot with their new release, “Karma” marking their first number one album after achieving four previous top three finishes. Medieval-themed band Feuerschwanz secured second place with “Knightclub”. Pop-rock group Revolverheld landed at number three with “20” while the soundtrack to “KPop Demon Hunters” followed closely behind at number four. Alternative-metal band Deftones’ album “Private Music” completes the top five.

GfK Entertainment compiles the official German charts on behalf of the German Music Industry Association (Bundesverband Musikindustrie), accounting for 90 percent of all music sales within the country.
