On Thursday, an incident occurred on a high-speed ICE train resulting in injuries to several individuals, according to the Lower Bavaria Police Headquarters.
The train, carrying approximately 500 passengers and traveling towards Vienna, was near Straßkirchen at approximately 1:55 PM when the incident took place. Authorities report that four people sustained minor injuries. The perpetrator has been apprehended by police.
Fire department, police and emergency services are currently on site with a significant presence, alongside emergency managers from Deutsche Bahn. The railway line is presently closed to traffic.
