Iran Denies Trump’s Claims of Talks, Cites Reversal in Threat to Bomb Power Plants.

Iran has denied U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that talks between Tehran and Washington are underway to end the war in the Middle East.
According to the Iranian news agency Fars, reported on Monday, the Tehran regime is neither engaged in direct discussions with the United States nor through any intermediaries. This stands in direct contradiction to Trump’s earlier assertion that “deep, detailed and constructive conversations” were taking place, with the expectation that they would continue later that week.

In other statements aired on Iranian state television, Trump was said to have pulled back from a threat to bombard Iranian power plants should the Strait of Hormuz remain closed until Monday evening. The decision, it was reported, was prompted by Iran’s own counter‑threat to strike energy infrastructure across the Middle East.
