The British monarch, King Charles III, announced that following the arrest of his brother Andrew in connection with the Epstein affair, he has placed the matter in hands of the justice system. In a statement issued Thursday afternoon, the king expressed “great concern” upon learning of Andrew Mountbatten‑Windsor’s alleged abuse of office. He said a “comprehensive, fair and proper process” will be followed, and that the relevant authorities will investigate the situation in a fitting manner. Charles emphasized that his full and unconditional support and cooperation will be provided throughout. “The law must run its course” he added. While that process continues, he clarified that he would refrain from further remarks on the matter. In the meantime, he assured that he and his family will continue to fulfil their duties and service for all.
