Harald Christ, a prominent business leader, will chair the advisory body Members include Ann-Kristin Achleitner, a professor at the Technical University of Munich with experience on numerous supervisory boards; Sabine Bendiek, former board member at software giant SAP; Roman Zitzelsberger, a trade union representative and former supervisory board member at Daimler; and Peter Kurz, ex-mayor of Mannheim Jens Südekum, Klingbeil’s personal economic advisor, will also serve on the council
Christ commented that the initiative represents a long-awaited step towards addressing infrastructural deficits and securing Germany’s ongoing development, stating that citizens and businesses have waited a long time for this level of investment
