The German official album charts are currently topped by the rapper Marteria, according to GfK released on Friday. Marteria, with his album “Zum Glück in die Zukunft III” defeated musical artist Bosse, securing his third number-one album. This new release succeeds his previous album, “Zum Glück in die Zukunft II” (2014), as well as the collaborative record “1982” (2018), which he created with Casper.
Bosse, with his tenth studio album “Stabile Poesie” reached the second position. Taking third place is the K-Pop boy group BTS with “Arirang”. The album “Bevor der Mut dich verlässt” by the band “Das Lumpenpack” secured the fourth spot, while Zayn (formerly of One Direction) placed fifth with “Konnakol”.
In the single charts, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s “Beauty And A Beat” climbed from position 13 to number one. AK Ausserkontrolle and Shirin David achieved silver status with “LDNB”. Following this German rap duo, popular tracks include Tame Impala’s “Dracula” (three), newcomer Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drop Dead” (four), and Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” (five).
