Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine with hundreds of drones on Wednesday. He stated that since midnight, at least 800 Russian drones had been launched, resulting in the deaths of a minimum of six people and injuring dozens more.
Zelenskyy suggested that the timing of this prolonged, large-scale Russian assault could not be a coincidence, happening exactly when the President of the United States was visiting China. He accused Russia of openly trying to destabilize the general political climate and draw attention to its malevolent intentions-all at the expense of Ukrainian lives and infrastructure.
According to the President, throughout the entire day, Russian forces fired Shahed drones at various regions, specifically targeting areas located closest to NATO borders. The hits were registered in regions including Transcarpathia, the Lviv region, Volhynia, and the regions of Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne.
