A 52-year-old Serbian employee who worked at an amusement park attraction at the Munich Oktoberfest passed away on Monday following a workplace accident.
Police reported that the incident occurred around 9:50 PM on the Theresienwiese grounds. The man initially sustained serious injuries and was transported to a Munich hospital by emergency services, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Details regarding the accident were not immediately released.
A crisis intervention team provided support to witnesses. The investigation at the scene was taken over by Precinct 13 of the Munich Criminal Police. According to initial findings, there was no danger to the passengers of the affected rideshare at any time.
