VfB Stuttgart Forward Deniz Undav Expresses Confidence Ahead of New Season
German international Deniz Undav is approaching the upcoming Bundesliga campaign with considerable optimism, aiming for a significant improvement in both his individual performance and the team’s overall success. Speaking to “Kicker”, the 29-year-old forward stated his desire to reach double-digit goals and substantially increase his assist numbers, contributing to greater achievements in the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Europa League competitions.
Undav acknowledged his previous season’s output – three assists and nine goals – as insufficient. He expressed a belief that his contribution could have been considerably higher, referencing a personal target of typically achieving seven or eight assists.
Looking ahead, Undav views VfB Stuttgart’s prospects favorably. He emphasized the team’s established foundation and a clear understanding of necessary improvements. Undav believes a strong start to the league season will allow for a wider range of possibilities. The collective goal for the team, he stated, is to achieve a more consistent and ultimately improved season.
