Powerwolf Tops German Album Charts, Nena Climbs to the Top Ten

The power‑metal band Powerwolf is at the top of the official German album charts with “Wildlive (Live at Olympiahalle)”, as announced by GfK on Friday.
Angelo Kelly follows in second place with “Alive”. Bad Bunny, who had taken the number‑one spot the week before with “Debi tirar más fotos” slips to third. New entries have appeared in the top ten: blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa with “B.B. King’s Blues Summit 100” (fourth), singer‑songwriter Charli XCX on “Wuthering Heights” (fifth), rapper Kane with “Farben” (eighth), and music icon Nena on “Wir gehören zusammen – On Tour With Nena” (tenth).

In the single charts, the Bonn brass ensemble Druckluft reaches the top with “Karnevalsmaus”. This makes them the first German band to claim the number‑one single spot since Rammstein’s “Zick Zack” four years ago and the first carnival‑themed group to do so since Höhner’s “Wenn nicht jetzt, wann dann” nineteen years earlier. At number two, Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life” sits beside Bad Bunny’s “DtMF” at number three.

The official German charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the Bundesverband Musikindustrie and represent 90 % of all music sales.
