SPD parliamentary manager Dirk Wiese has called on the coalition committee to finalize agreements regarding key reform efforts during their meeting on Wednesday. Speaking to the Rheinische Post, Wiese stated, “We want to cross the finish line on central issues.”
He further expects the committee to take important steps toward ensuring the fair modernization of the state. He emphasized the need to quickly conclude projects already underway, such as the health reform, adding that “we need planning security for all involved.”
Wiese found the outcome of the pension commission to be an encouraging sign of cooperation within the coalition. He noted that the unanimous result demonstrated the potential for effective collaboration moving forward. According to Wiese, this forward-looking spirit reflects the preparation of the coalition committee, which he described as constructive and solution-oriented.
