Study Reveals Germany’s Armed Forces Still Heavily Dependent on U.S. Tech

Worldwide, two‑thirds of all defense startups are in the United States. The superpower also dominates large enterprises: Of the 100 largest companies, 48 are U.S. conglomerates. They are financed from a defense budget of roughly one trillion U.S. dollars, which is more than three times the combined spending of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
