The match between 1. FC Heidenheim and VfB Stuttgart ended in a 3-3 draw in the 23rd round of the Bundesliga.
Stuttgart opened the scoring early through Chris Führich, but Heidenheim quickly responded with a goal from Eren Dinkci. A penalty by Arijon Ibrahimovic gave the Heidenheim side a temporary lead, only for Maximilian Mittelstädt to level the score for Stuttgart with another penalty.
The second half remained intense. Sirlord Conteh restored Heidenheim’s advantage, yet Deniz Undav later equalised for Stuttgart, salvaging the points for the Swabians. Both teams had further chances in stoppage time, but the score stayed 3-3.
For Heidenheim the draw is a modest gain in their fight against relegation, while Stuttgart missed valuable points in their push for the Champions League spots.
