A 15-year-old male was seriously injured Sunday afternoon during an altercation at the Erlangen bus station. According to police from the Erlangen-Stadt police department, a 17-year-old suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a knife before inflicting multiple stab wounds to his upper body.

The incident occurred around 5:00 PM following a prior dispute between the two juveniles. Witnesses intervened, prompting the 17-year-old suspect to flee the scene. The injured youth was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Law enforcement initiated a search, deploying officers from the Erlangen operational unit, plainclothes officers and a K-9 unit. Later that evening, plainclothes officers successfully apprehended the 17-year-old suspect.

Separately, a disturbance occurred at the scene while police were processing the crime. The father of the injured youth, reportedly intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of approximately 0.2%, attempted to access the ambulance transporting his son. After repeated requests, the 46-year-old male was taken into custody. During this process, two police officers sustained minor injuries.
