A disturbing discovery has been made in Zwiesel, a town in the Bavarian district of Regen, following the recovery of three deceased individuals within a multi-family dwelling on Monday. Local authorities confirmed Tuesday that a 37-year-old man has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
The suspect reportedly contacted Austrian police authorities in Linz, admitting to having killed three people. Following this notification, police conducted a search of the apartment building in Zwiesel, where the deceased were found.
The man is currently being held pending extradition proceedings. Investigations are underway, being jointly led by the Deggendorf Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Deggendorf Criminal Police Station.
