Speculation is swirling around a potential transfer of French forward Hugo Ekitiké from Eintracht Frankfurt to Liverpool Football Club. According to reports from Sky, a preliminary agreement has been reached between the two clubs.
Liverpool is reportedly prepared to pay a transfer fee of €95 million for the 23-year-old striker. If the deal progresses, Ekitiké is anticipated to sign a contract with the Reds extending until 2031.
The player initially joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan basis in January 2024, arriving from Paris Saint-Germain. In April 2024, he was permanently signed by Frankfurt, with a contract initially securing his services until June 2029.
The transfer remains subject to Ekitiké successfully completing a medical examination.
